In order to lose weight quickly and keep it off for good, you must do two things – eat less and exercise more. But this does not have to be difficult or cause you to have to change your lifestyle or eating habits drastically. By simply doing a few small things in your life you can lose the excess weight that has been holding you back in various areas of your life. Think about the life you could have if you lost twenty pounds or even more. It is possible by following the following suggestions.
· Eliminate just one of the foods that has caused you to gain weight. Think of it as a food category. For me it was cookies. When I stopped eating cookies I eliminated any type of cookie from my diet, without completely depriving myself of sugar. This made a difference right away. Think about the categories of foods you are currently eating that cause you to
not lose weight. It might be donuts, pie, or chips.
· Walk for fifteen minutes each day. That’s all, just fifteen minutes. Being outside and getting in touch with how your body feels will have a profound and dramatic effect on your weight loss plan. When I first started walking I realized how my clothes fit, that my posture was poor, and that my feet hurt. I never thought about these things before I started walking. Sometimes I walk in the morning, but if I am too busy with other things in my life, I walk around eight o’clock at night. I now sleep better and have begun losing even more weight.
· Take fifteen minutes each day to just sit and think. Do not think about your weight, or anything negative. Just give yourself that time to focus on your thoughts. This will also help you in your quest to drop unwanted pounds.
Losing weight will change your perspective on the world and enable you to achieve more success and happiness in all areas of your life. I encourage you to get started right away with your new life.
